For commercial estates, public buildings and high-security sites, the objective is clear: retain broken glass in place where possible, prevent dangerous fragments reaching people or property, and restore the area with minimum disruption. Why glass fallout needs active management

Glass can fail without warning. Impact from vehicles, thrown objects or attempted forced entry is an obvious cause, but it is not the only one. Thermal stress, ageing seals, poor edge condition, installation defects and spontaneous breakage in toughened glass can all lead to a pane fracturing.
